(VOVworld) – Thanh Hoa province has had 12 communes that achieved all the criteria set in the national program on new rural development. The local authorities aim to have another 27 such communes by the end of this year, noting that the program’s success is attributed to the local people’s contribution and solidarity in new rural development. (VOVworld) – Na Hoi is one of the six communes in Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province, selected to implement the government’s new rural development program for the period 2010-2020. With this program, ethnic minority people in Na Hoi are joining hands to build a more prosperous life.

(VOVworld) – Dong Thap province has applied a new rice production model called “joint fields”. The province wants to tighten cooperation between farmers and enterprises, not just increase production scale. The farmers joining the program know what type of plants they should grow, who will buy their output, and the prices. The enterprises have no longer worry about supply or purchasing method.
