The festival has received 33 entries, a record high number, in the live broadcast category that focus on urban lifestyle, child abuse, climate change, and preserving and promoting traditional culture. Đồng Mạnh Hùng, Head of the News and Current Affairs Department (VOV1) and the member of the Board of Judges for Live Broadcast, said: "The entries are much more modern this year. They use the internet and social networks, and livestreaming of programs, which increases interaction with the audience. This year audience participation is a priority."

The closing and awards ceremony will take place on Saturday night.
