Ambassador Huong expressed Vietnam's desire for a memorandum of understanding on labor cooperation to establish a framework for cooperation and ensure the rights of workers in line with the laws of both nations. She also shared information about Vietnam's international labor partnerships, particularly its cooperation with Greece and other European countries.
Minister Plevris said Greece is keen to expand labor cooperation and sign agreements with partner countries, including Vietnam, to facilitate the legal recruitment of foreign workers and help meet its demand for human resources to support economic development.
According to official statistics, nearly 1,500 Vietnamese workers are currently licensed to work in Greece, including both seasonal and long-term employees.
