The Vietnamese women are in Group B, where they will face defending champions Japan, runners-up the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and China.

In Group A, host Uzbekistan will compete against South Korea, Australia, and Taipei (China).

From this Saturday through next Tuesday, team Vietnam will play two friendly matches against the host team. Head coach Akira Ijiri said he hopes his players will take the opportunity to improve their skills.
