[VOVWORLD] - Hanoi on Wednesday launched 10 electric bus routes in a bid to develop green public transport, improve services, and ease air pollution in urban areas.
33 electric buses will be deployed for route 74 from Friday. The city will deploy 170 more electric buses for a total of 11 routes before April 30.
By the end of this month, Hanoi will have more than 820 electric buses, as part of its plan to develop a sustainable public transportation system and a green, civilized, and modern capital city.
