(VOVworld)- The 7th session of the Joint Committee of the Voice of Vietnam and Thailand’s Public Relations Department was convened in Hanoi on Monday.
In his address, VOV’s vice President Vu Hai said the establishment of the ASEAN Community will increase understanding between Vietnam and Thailand and their peoples as well as boost bilateral cooperation in various areas including information and communications. Mr. Hai said:“I believe that the rapid development of our two agencies will create momentum for closer and more effective bilateral cooperation which will strengthen understanding between the two peoples”.
At the meeting, the two agencies discussed ways to further bilateral cooperation. They agreed to continue exchanging radio and TV programs and developing special features, especially those in the “Dynamic Asia” program. Vice President of the Thai Public Relations Department Charroon Chaisorn promised to work closely with the Voice of Vietnam to contribute to bilateral ties between the two countries.
