When the sun comes up, you see thin layers of mist covering the mountains. The sunlight gradually dissolves the layers of mist, revealing stunning scenery.


The mist layer forms a cloud that gently perches on roofs, surrounded by hills.


The whole town seems to be drowsing under its blanket of thin clouds.


Broad plains and tea hills are immersed in a peaceful morning. Due to the micro climate of the plateau, mist often appears from autumn to the end of spring.


If you are lucky enough to see this scenery, you’ll fall head over hells in love with the extraordinary natural beauty of the highlands.


As the sun’s warmth melts the frost layers, the whole town brightens.


Moc Chau plateau is 180 km from Hanoi, on Highway 6 to Son La province. The best time to visit Moc Chau is around Tet holiday, when plum flowers bloom along the streets creating a romantic scene.


In the spring, Moc Chau is full of white plum and brassica flowers, and pink cherry flowers. You can stop at any public garden along the road.


Dai Yen is a stunning waterfall 5 km from town.


The pine forest of the Ban Ang resort is about 3 km from Moc Chau district, where you can also find vast fields of white brassica flowers. On the way to Ngu Dong marble cave, remember to take photos of the beautiful S- shaped road up the tea hill. Ngu Dong marble cave is 20 km from Moc Chau farm.
