(VOVworld) - Director of "Kong: Skull Island", Jordan Vogt-Roberts, has been appointed tourism ambassador of Vietnam for the 2017-2020 period. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved his nomination on March 9th and on March, 10th, after a unanimous vote, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien officially appointed him Vietnam’s tourism ambassador.

The director of "Kong: Skull Island" said he is honored to have been selected and will do his utmost to introduce Vietnam’s beauty to foreign tourists.
The ceremony was attended by US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius
US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius said the film is a combination of US movie magic and Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts is a US producer/director who directed Single Dads (2009), The Kings of Summer (2013), Kong: Skull Island (2017) and a number of TV shows.
