(VOVWORLD) - Ha Giang province has developed community-based cultural tourism villages to preserve the culture of local ethnic groups, including the village of the Tay ethnic people in Lam Dong commune. The village, which offers accommodation and meals for domestic and international visitors, enables them to explore the lifestyle of local ethnic people.

(VOVWORLD) - Craft villages in Thua Thien Hue provide the locals an income while promoting the area’s culture and tourism.

(VOVWORLD) - Every two years during the Hue Festival, a rural market is held at Thanh Thuy Chanh village, also known as Thanh Toan village, in Thua Thien Hue province. The market is one of the local community tourist attractions.

(VOVWORLD) - 73 traditional craft villages in Phu Tho have been recognized and restored by provincial People’s Committee. The villages have helped to restructure the workforce and increase locals’ income. Amid the current development trend, craft villages have invested much in scientific and technological applications to improve product quality and enhance coordination among farmers, the state, scientists, and businesses.

(VOVWORLD) - Located in Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City, Nam O has long been famous for its fish sauce. Founded in the early 20th century, the village is now facing a lack of land on which to build workshops. VOV’s correspondent in the central region reports on how villagers are preserving their traditional craft.

The 300-year-old village has sometimes fallen into relative obscurity, but its dedicated potters have done their best to keep their black clay pottery craft alive.
