(VOVWORLD) - Growing mulberry trees and raising silkworms has given people in Tran Yen mountain district, Yen Bai province, an income three to four times higher than growing wet rice and other crops. Some families now earn thousands of dollars a year, and the standard of living in new-style rural communes there improves day by day.

(VOVWORLD) -The 200-year-old Thuan Hung rice paper village in Thot Not district, Can Tho city, has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. This is the first traditional craft village in Can Tho to receive the recognition.

(VOVWORLD) - Quang Ninh province’s goal is to comprehensively improve the material and spiritual life of farmers and rural residents in accordance with the happiness criteria of the national target program on building new-style rural areas. Thanks to the locals’ solidarity, many mountain and island areas in Quang Ninh, including Binh Khe mountain commune, have become role models in meeting the happiness criteria.
