(VOVWORLD) - Van Son commune, 20 km northwest of the center of Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province, is famous for growing citrus trees. By restructuring crops from potatoes, corn, and cassava to pomelos, oranges, and tangerines, local farmers have become better-off.

(VOVWORLD) - The Cao Phong 3T Agricultural Product Cooperative, known as 3T Farm, is an outstanding agricultural economic model in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province. It specializes in growing, producing, and trading organic oranges and tangerines. 3T Farm’s oranges have been certified as a four-star OCOP provincial product.

(VOVWORLD) -The life of the Lu ethnic people in Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province, is changing day by day thanks to Party and State support policies and locals’ own efforts. Hamlets which used to have lots of outdated customs and poor living conditions now have a new look.

(VOVWORLD) - Ha Lau commune in Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province, is no longer a poor commune. Thanks to innovative livestock farming focused on raising Tien Yen chickens, the lives of Ha Lau’s residents have improved.

(VOVWORLD) - These days farmers in the northern mountainous province of Son La are busy taking care of strawberry beds in bloom and bearing fruit. Strawberries, grown in Son La only recently, have proven profitable and are bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

(VOVWORLD) - Many Co Tu ethnic families in Quang Nam province have planted “chuoi moc” (Siamese bananas) to develop their household economy. The easy-to-grow plant is the main source of income for the locals, helping them escape poverty and stabilize their lives.

(VOVWORLD) - Lang is one of three communes to pilot the growing of ba kich (morinda officinalis) in Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province. Thanks to this plant, many locals have escaped poverty and their lives are improving day by day.

(VOVWORLD) - The living conditions of ethnic minority groups in Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, have improved in recent years. The progress can be credited to village elders, village chiefs, and other prestigious people in the community who are the core of solidarity and building a prosperous, happy life.
