(VOVWORLD) - On Tuesday, at the VOVWorld office in Hanoi we had the honor of welcoming the winners of VOV’s 2020 contest “What do you know about Vietnam?”

(VOVWORLD) - Christmas and New Year are around the corner and we can already feel the festive atmosphere.

(VOVWORLD) - Last week VOVWorld received 320 letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners. They listened to us on shortwave and on our website, and followed us on Facebook.

(VOVWORLD) - This week, VOVWorld received more than 300 letters and emails from listeners in 34 countries and territories.

(VOVWORLD) - These days the world seems to revolve around FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Phichet Thongphum of Thailand asked: “Does Vietnam broadcast live World Cup matches?”

(VOVWORLD) - First on our show today, we’d like to welcome Daud Jabbarkhel of Pakistan back to our show. In his recent emails to VOV, he wrote: “All of your programs are great. Your news and comments are valued. I’m a former listener of VOV5. I love VOV5”

(VOVWORLD) - There's really no better feeling than opening the mailbox to get letters from relatives and friends. At our office we have the pleasure of receiving emails and letters from listeners around the world on a daily basis.

(VOVWORLD) - First on our show today, we’d like to acknowledge feedback from Richard Lemke of Canada. We have received regular comments from him, one of our loyal listeners for years.

(VOVWORLD) - Since last Wednesday VOVWorld has received 340 letters and emails from listeners in 33 countries and territories. They shared their interest in news about Vietnam’s politics and society and other Southeast Asian countries, which are rarely covered by their local media.
