(VOVWORLD) - Over the last 7 days VOVWorld received 360 letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners to give us their feedback and comments on VOV programs in 13 languages. The English section received 42 emails and letters.

(VOVWORLD) - First on our show today, we’d like to thank our listeners for sending us greetings for Vietnam’s National Radio Festival which is taking place in HCM City. Though the official opening ceremony will be officially held on Thursday, many activities are already underway.

In his very first correspondence to VOV this week, he wrote: “Good morning to you all, I'm Nick and I live in Worthing, on the south coast of the UK. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your broadcasts, especially learning about Vietnam.

(VOVWORLD) - Last week VOVWorld received 389 letters and emails from listeners in 33 countries and territories who listened to VOV’s programs in 12 languages. We were very glad to receive a letter from Paul Simmonds of Ashbourne, South Australia. It’s been half a year since we received his last letter.

(VOVWORLD) - Northern Vietnam is nearing the height of summer and daily high temperatures are now 38 or 39 DC. Each hot spell usually lasts for more than a week and typically ends with a heavy thunderstorm.
