(VOVWORLD) - The Party’s cadre work made an important contribution to Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development and national security and defense in the first half of the 13th tenure of the Party Central Committee. The Communist Party of Vietnam continues to fine-tune mechanisms and policies to build a contingent of cadres to meet the needs of the country's development and strengthen the Party’s leadership capacity.

(VOVWORLD) - Since the 13th National Party Congress, Vietnam's fight against corruption and negativity has achieved several outstanding results, becoming an irreversible trend. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who is Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, chaired a meeting on Wednesday to launch important tasks of the Steering Committee, affirming Vietnam’s determination to fight corruption and negativity.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam, a coastal country on the East Sea, has a marine index 6 times higher than the global average. With 28 coastal provinces and cities accounting for 42% of its land area and 45% of its total population, Vietnam has the great advantage of marine and island resources. Resolution 36 on "Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045", adopted at the 8th Plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee, outlines the importance of developing the sea and island economy and making Vietnam a strong, rich maritime country.

(VOVWORLD) - International integration is one of the three pillars that Vietnam has chosen for national renewal. The country has made great achievements in 10 years of implementing Politburo Resolution 22 on international integration. In the future Vietnam will focus on improving the quality of international integration to gain an optimal position in the new international arena and make full use of resources for national development.

(VOVWORLD) - War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, is an event of great significance to Vietnamese people. This is a day when the Party, army, and people of Vietnam pay tribute to revolutionary predecessors, war martyrs, and war invalids for their bravery and heroic sacrifices for the national struggles for liberation, reunification, construction, and defense.

(VOVWORLD) - Recently, a number of foreign films have been banned in Vietnam for containing details that distort Vietnam’s history and violate Vietnam’s sovereignty. Both the government and the public have a sense of responsibility to detect and respond to violations in movie screenings and help protect national sovereignty in cyberspace.

(VOVWORLD) - The armed groups which attacked the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Ktur and Ea Tieu communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province, on June 11 have been arrested and will be investigated and prosecuted according to the law. But hostile forces have been taking advantage of the case to incite sabotage, cause instability, and call on other countries and international organizations to intervene in Vietnam’s internal affairs. They have distorted Vietnam’s efforts to ensure that all ethnic groups are equal, united, and respected to develop together.

(VOVWORLD) - “Vietnam’s bamboo diplomacy” is a concept that many diplomats refer to when discussing Vietnam's foreign policy. This concept is not a new theory, but a description of the foreign policy that the Communist Party of Vietnam has been implementing.

(VOVWORLD) - In October 2021 the Prime Minister adopted a National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountain Areas until 2030. The Committee for Ethnic Affairs has been working closely with localities nationwide to review the implementation of the program and seek ways to enhance the development of ethnic minority regions.

(VOVWORLD) - During the past half tenure of the 13th Party Central Committee, Vietnam has made great strides in reducing poverty in ethnic minority regions. These achievements have narrowed gaps between the mountain and plain regions and promoted social justice in Vietnam.
