(VOVWORLD) - After participating in a project on water disinfection in Hanoi using ozone technology, graduate student Le Cao Cuong cherished a dream of creating ‘Made in Vietnam’ ozone equipment. 20 years later, engineer Cuong and his colleagues have built thousands of ozone machines. Many of their inventions have been recognized internationally.

(VOVWORLD) - War invalid Nguyen Duc Diem of Thai Nguyen city in northern Vietnam has overcome numerous difficulties due to his physical injuries to successfully operate a business in his homeland. As Director of the Tan Phu Automobile Transport Cooperative, he has inspired many other locals in business and production.

(VOVWORLD) - Duong Doan Quang, the owner of a carpentry workshop Lang Son province, has a great passion for the Tinh, a traditional musical instrument that accompanies Then singing of the Tay ethnic minority. Quang, who builds Tinhs from a variety of woods and metals, is conscious of his role in helping to preserve Tay culture.

(VOVWORLD) - Ms. Duong Thi Kim Dung in district 3, Ho Chi Minh City, is known for her active participation in charity work and helping disadvantaged people over the past 30 years. She has also provided poor students with free accommodation.

(VOVWORLD) - UNESCO and the L’Oréal Foundation last month presented the L’Oréal-UNESCO International Rising Talent Award in 2022 for Dr. Ho Thi Thanh Van, a chemist who works at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment. Her research in developing new materials for the production of green hydrogen made Dr. Van one of 15 young female scientists to receive the award.
