As Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lieu Tu commune, Toi has done mass mobilization work and promoted national unity. She is very active in social work and new rural development.

He was one of the founding members of the Vietnam Musicians’ Association in 1957 and served as General Secretary of the Association from 1957 to 1983.
