Tuyen ranked 4th with a score of 123.9 after the final of the rifle event, thereby becoming the first athlete of the tournament’s rifle event to win a ticket to Paris in July.

This is Vietnam’s second ticket to the grand event for shooting sports, after Trinh Thu Vinh earned a spot. Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy won the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team category of the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship 2024 on Tuesday.

As of Wednesday, Vietnam has obtained a total of 4 tickets to the Paris Olympics, two by the shooting team, one by cyclist Nguyen Thi That, and one by swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang.
