(VOVWORLD) - The Muong ethnic people have mastered the art of brocade weaving over generations. In Lạc Sơn District, Hòa Bình Province, they continue to dye and weave fabric to make their traditional clothing.

(VOVWORLD) - Most Cham ethic minority people live in Ninh Thuan province and follow a matriarchal system. After marriage, the husband moves in with his wife's family. Within the extended Cham matriarchal family, each sister has her own chamber on the family compound.

(VOVWORLD) - In the grave abandonment ceremony of the Jrai ethnic group in the Central Highlands, there is a sacred rite in which people smear themselves with mud to disguise themselves as mud ghosts. Mud ghosts are good spirits who can protect their dead relatives.

(VOVWORLD) - The Muong ethnic people in Hanoi live mainly in Quoc Oai, Thach That, Ba Vi, and My Duc district. They have maintained their traditional customs, culture, costumes, cuisine, folk beliefs, and folk arts, including mo ritual, sung epics, proverbs, riddles, and musical instruments, the best know of which is the gong.

(VOVWORLD) - The Tac xinh dance of the San Chay ethnic minority groupis often performed for tourists who visit Thai Nguyen province. The dance is associated with the ritual of praying for a good harvest and to thank the gods for bumper crops and a prosperous life.
