(VOVWORLD) - People in Tuy An Dong commune, Dak Lak province (formerly Tuy An district, Phu Yen province) have managed to modify the traditional lithophones made from slabs of natural stone. The modified instrument has made the commune a popular tourist destination.

(VOVWORLD) - The La Chi ethnic minority people mainly live in Ban Lien Commune, Lao Cai province. They have preserved many traditional customs, including making their own clothes.

(VOVWORLD) - Ethnic communities in Thai Nguyen province observe many age-old rituals. The crop praying ceremony of the Tay and Nung people is an important annual event to express gratitude to the deities and pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests.

(VOVWORLD) - The Ki pah horn is a cultural symbol used by the Ede ethnic minority people in the Central Highlands to communicate with deities and to lead their most sacred rituals. Unlike the resonant sound of gongs or the lively flow of flutes, the Ki pah produces a deep, echoing tone as it carries the sound of the earth, trees, and wind.

Tau chua, a sour dish made from soybeans and mustard greens, has long been a specialty of the local Mong people.

It is also an occasion for the community to celebrate, give thanks to heaven and earth, and pray for favorable weather, a bountiful harvest, good health, family happiness, and prosperity.

(VOVWORLD) - Each year, between the lunar months of April and May, when the dry season gives way to the rains, Khmer communities in Tra Vinh (now part of Vinh Long province) joyfully celebrate the Dom Long Neak Ta festival, worshipping village guardian deities and praying for favorable weather, abundant harvests, and peaceful lives. The festival is also a bond connecting generations and strengthening community solidarity.

(VOVWORLD) - The Chapi is one of the traditional musical instruments of the Raglai people in Ninh Thuan province (now merged into Khanh Hoa province). Today, Raglai artisans are striving to preserve the Chapi, which is present in various rituals and communal activities, with the hope that its melodies will continue to echo for generations to come.

(VOVWORLD) - Pa Di is a small branch of the Tay ethnic minority group. Although small in number, the Pa Di are celebrated for their distinctive culture and a vibrant heritage of folk songs and festivals. In every singing show or celebration, the round lute is indispensable.

(VOVWORLD) - Yen Phu is a purely agricultural commune in Văn Yên district, Yên Bái province, where the Cao Lan ethnic people make up nearly 10% of the population. Despite living with other ethnic groups, the Cao Lan people have preserved distinctive features of their culture, folk songs, dances, and festivals.
