At the meeting, Deputy Commander Colonel Luong Quoc Anh said that the "Journey of Overseas Vietnamese to the homeland's islands and seas" is a meaningful and practical activity as it helps Vietnamese expats better understand their homeland's seas and islands, the living conditions, activities, studies, and work of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5 Command and their tasks of protecting national sovereignty.

On this occasion, the Overseas Vietnamese delegation gave gifts to officers and soldiers.
