Awards were also given to senior authors, young authors, and 20 promising works by Youth Union members and other young writers. 20 outstanding collectives were honored with group awards.
Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, said this year’s contest received a record 542,000 entries, up 73,000 from last year.

The contest recorded growth in both quantity and quality of submissions, with broader and more diverse participation, said Thang, noting the involvement of international scholars and political figures, including the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Switzerland, and leading Marxist researchers from major institutes in China and Laos.
