The event was organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Belgium and the Vietnamese Mission to the European Union, in coordination with relevant partners.

The workshop featured four specialized discussion sessions with nearly 20 speakers from Vietnam and Europe. Discussions focused on the application of AI in areas of growing importance, including digital transformation, economic development, trade, energy, nuclear medicine and biotechnology.

Speakers shared new technological advances and experiences in research collaboration between Vietnam and Europe. The workshop was viewed as an important forum connecting Vietnamese intellectuals in Europe and promoting cooperation in high-tech fields, particularly artificial intelligence.

It also highlighted the increasingly important role played by the Vietnamese intellectual community in Europe in linking knowledge, technology and international resources to support Vietnam’s development.
