The Vietnamese people hope that the Congress will adopt strategic and practical decisions to promote rapid and sustainable economic growth, improve living standards, safeguard independence and sovereignty, and maintain a peaceful and stable environment.

Vietnamese people shared their expectations for the 14th National Party Congress:

“I feel very excited and hopeful that the outcomes of the Congress will open a new development path, making Vietnam stronger and more prosperous and that the Vietnamese people can live in peace and stand on a par with other nations around the world.”

“The Vietnamese business community in Japan hopes that the Congress will introduce breakthrough policies to further harness the role of overseas Vietnamese in national economic development. We look forward to more open mechanisms that enable overseas Vietnamese to invest, transfer technology, and connect markets. We also hope that more attention will be paid to preserving the Vietnamese language and cultural identity for younger generations.”

The Congress is being closely followed by the international community as Vietnam affirms its role as a dynamic economy, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community.

Some foreigners share their thoughts on Vietnam's major political event:
"I believe that with the spirit of unity, democracy, discipline, innovation, and development, the 14th National Congress will set forth correct strategic directions, creating a solid foundation for Vietnam to enter a new stage of development which is faster and more sustainable, successfully achieving the goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030, aiming towards the vision of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045. I'm confident and hope, based on the strategic directions determined at the 14th National Congress, the great friendship, especially, solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic cohesion between Laos and Vietnam will continue to be strengthened and developed even more strongly."

"I believe that the Communist Party of Vietnam will make positive and well-informed decisions that consolidate the achievements already attained. I also hope that the 14th National Congress will succeed in further uniting and strengthening the Party, while shaping a clear future direction that continues to consolidate the progress the Vietnamese people have made, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on the path toward socialism."
