In the letter, AFC General Secretary Windsor John sent his best wishes to the Vietnamese team and expressed his hope that the team will achieve more success in the upcoming round.

In the second round from June 3-11, eight teams will be drawn into two groups, and the top two teams of each group will play against each other to advance to the final round.
