The Expo, to be held later this year, will include product exhibitions, seminars, drills, live demonstrations, and business meetings.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang said the Expo themed “Peace – Friendship –Cooperation for mutual development” will be a milestone affirming the prestige, organizational capacity, and international integration of the Vietnam People’s Army.

He said it will spread the image of a peace-loving Vietnam that’s transparent in its defence policy and ready to cooperate, while showcasing the advancement of Vietnam’s defence industry.

The Vietnam International Defence Expo has been held twice, in 2022 and 2024, with each edition growing in scale and quality. The two events drew widespread attention domestically and internationally to Vietnam’s commitment to peace and self-defense, and reinforced its standing and credibility.
