(VOVWORLD) - First up we’d like to wish all of you well during the spreading coronavirus pandemic. Many of our listeners told us that their countries are going to unlock social distancing to normalize life and production while enhancing preventive measures against COVID-19.

(VOVWORLD) - We continued to receive entries to our “What do you know about Vietnam? “ contest this week.

(VOVWORLD) - Our listeners sent words of encouragement to the people of Vietnam when they heard the news about COVID-19’s recurrence here.

(VOVWORLD) - First on our show today, we’d like to remind you that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our “What do you know about Vietnam?” contest will be extended to August 31st to give listeners more time to answer the 6 main questions and send in their entries. The questions are available on our website at vovworld.vn.

(VOVWORLD) - We have received letters from listeners worldwide. It’s a real pleasure to receive letters and postcards from people in different parts of the world, who rarely use the internet and email. We are confident you are taking good care of yourself amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

(VOVWORLD) - More entries for the contest “What do you know about Vietnam?” are being sent to VOV. We received an entry from Rabi Sankar Bosu of India, who has been a faithful listener to the VOV English Service on shortwave radio for 35 years, nowadays via internet streaming.

(VOVWORLD) - This week, we continued to receive entries to our contest “What do you know about Vietnam” from our listeners around the world.

(VOVWORLD): This week we continue to receive entries for the writing contest “What do you know about Vietnam?” Some of our listeners said the Covid-19 pandemic has changed their living and working habits, including their DX’ing hobby. As VOV has extended the deadline of the contest to July 31, they have more time to prepare materials for their writing and will send their works as soon as possible.
