In the capital Hanoi, people have expressed great confidence in the outcomes of the Congress, which is widely seen as having set a new direction for national construction and development. Can Viet Anh, former Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, expressed firm belief in the Party’s leadership.
“I firmly believe in the Party’s sound leadership. As Vietnam deepens international integration and accelerates industrial development, policies have been introduced to mobilize the strength of the entire nation, unite all segments of society, and move Vietnam toward the goal of becoming a developed, high-income nation," said Viet Anh.
Tran Thuy Chi of Hanoi’s Cau Giay district highlighted the sense of responsibility felt by young people who have grown up during peacetime.
“As part of the younger generation who grew up in peacetime and benefited from the achievements of 40 years of renewal, I have a responsibility to the Party and to the country. I have strong faith in the orientations and decisions adopted by the Congress. Young people will continue to improve their skills and knowledge, master technology, and make practical contributions to national development,” said Chi.
Following the Congress through mass media, ethnic communities in Lao Cai province praised the orientations and decisions adopted and expressed a desire to join efforts to implement the Congress’s Resolution and move Vietnam forward into a new era of development.
"The Congress continued to affirm and deepen Vietnam’s strategic development vision, based objectively on practical experience and frankly acknowledging existing shortcomings and constraints in order to adopt strong, comprehensive, and feasible reforms,” said Dao Thi Ngoc Lan of Yen Binh commune.
In the new stage of development, the task is not only to achieve economic growth, but also to improve growth quality, ensure social progress and equity, strengthen cultural and human foundations, and secure long-term sustainability, she added.

Servicemen stationed at the DK1 platforms expressed full confidence in the orientations and strategic goals approved by the Congress, and reaffirmed their determination to safeguard Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty.
“I’m confident that under the leadership of the Party and the State, Vietnam will enter a new period marked by significant achievements. As naval soldiers, we’re steadfast and resolute, ready to defend the nation’s maritime and island sovereignty, including the southern continental shelf," said Nguyen Gia Hieu, a young soldier.
