Lai Gia Thanh (born in 1998) successfully completed all three snatch attempts, lifting 115kg, 118kg, and 120kg respectively, to secure the gold medal in this event.

The 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships are taking place from May 9 to 16, attracting the world's top weightlifters. Vietnam’s weightlifting team is participating in the competition with eight athletes, including notable names such as Nguyen Tran Anh Tuan, Lai Gia Thanh, Ngo Son Dinh, Pham Thi Hong Thanh, and Quang Thi Tam.
