Themed "Innovating Futures: AI & Semiconductors Globally", the five-day event will bring together 1,000 delegates, including representatives from leading tech firms like Google DeepMind, IBM, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, MediaTek, Tokyo Electron, Panasonic, Qorvo, Marvell, and many others.
During a press conference in Hanoi on Monday, Dr. Christopher Nguyen, founder of Aitomatic of the USA and co-organizer of AISC 2025, said he hopes the event will bring two main impacts.
“One, of course, is that any scientific conference has the value of sharing information and for learning. So people that are coming hopefully will learn a lot directly interfacing or interacting with these world-leading researchers like Dr. Anna Goldie from AlphaChip”, said Nguyen, adding, “The other longer term impact I hope is that the kind of people that are coming to the AIS conference to present, they normally don't come to Vietnam. They're not here to do manufacturing or to do FDI. They are generally people who work in companies that solve real problems that they have and that they usually buy technology or buy products from other people. So I'm hoping to be able to connect that ecosystem to the ecosystem in Vietnam so that one day we'll have access directly to that global market.”

As part of the conference, SemiKong, an open-source chip manufacturing platform developed by Aitomatic in collaboration with FPT Software and international semiconductor experts, will be launched.
