People in Meo Vac struggle with freezing weather

(VOVworld) – Due to the impact of intensified northeast monsoon, Meo Vac district in Ha Giang province has seen snowfalls since January 24. Ho Mi Vu, Chairman of Can Chu Phin commune’s Farmers Association, said this has been extremely cold weather in several years. Teacher Nguyen Danh Toan of Can Chu Phin secondary school said he came here in 2000 and this is the first time Meo Vac is blanketed with snow. The temperature ranges from 0 to minus 2 or 4 DC in some places.
