(VOVWORLD) - The South-Central Region transmitting station of the Voice of Vietnam in Ninh Thuan province was officially inaugurated on June 16th. This is a major project to expand VOV’s radio coverage to reach people in the south central region and the East Sea.

It’s one of the most important ceremonies of the year, along with the Lunar New Year and the Full-Moon ceremony in the seventh lunar month. Each branch of the Dao celebrates Thanh Minh differently, but in general descendants show their gratitude and filial piety to ancestors by repairing their graves and making offerings to them to pray for blessings and protection.

Phuoc Tich ancient pottery village revived

(VOVWORLD) -Phuoc Tich village (also called Ke Dooc village) is a small pottery village by the O Lau river, which is about 40 km to the north of Hue city. More than 500 years ago, it was a famous pottery production and trade hub supplying products to all central provinces. The Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery displays 5,000 Phuoc Tich ceramic artifacts, dated from the 17th to 18th century.
