Vinh Hai border guard station, together with local authorities and the volunteer group “Connecting Love”, presented 156 gifts each worth 20 USD and 9 compassionate houses worth 13,000 USD to local poor people.

9 scholarships worth 20 USD each and a bicycle were awarded to local students under a program to promote education.

2,300 USD worth of free medical examinations and medicine were also distributed to locals. Nearby were “Zero Dong Markets”, a program donating access to food stalls, barbershops, and clothing stores.

In Cu Lao Dung and Tran De districts, An Thanh 3 and Trung Binh border guard stations presented more than 100 gifts, each worth 20 USD, to disadvantaged people living near maritime border areas.
