Both sides discussed maritime security in the East Sea and adjacent sea areas, the results of cooperative activities since August 2023, and future orientations.

The two countries’ navies have coordinated in handling encounters at sea in compliance with international principles and laws, and the laws of each country, aiming to maintain peace, cooperation, and development in the East Sea.
