15 scholarships were awarded to children of fishermen who have excelled in their studies.

Nguyen Dinh Minh, a recipient in Ben Beo residential area of Cat Ba town, said, “The program is meaningful for fishermen, encouraging us safeguard the national sea and work harder. Our responsibility is to protect national maritime sovereignty and make our sea and islands greener, cleaner, and more beautiful.”

The program was launched in 2023 and has been implemented in 19 coastal localities nationwide.
