This will be a landmark event for Vietnam’s international legal integration and its multilateral diplomacy and provide opportunities to attract international investment in cyber security in Vietnam, said Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang.

“Cybersecurity for the banking and finance sector, e-commerce and cloud computing are the areas that attract the most investment today. Network monitoring and incident response services, especially cloud computing security services, are considered to have huge potential, as the Vietnamese cybersecurity market size is predicted to top 400 million USD in 2025.”

As part of the Convention signing ceremony, there will be a big exhibition on cybersecurity and digital transformation with Vietnam’s leading tech companies to take part in, Minister Quang said, adding global businesses will be able to connect directly with Vietnamese businesses and government agencies.

The signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention will be attended by representatives from more than 200 countries, global and regional organizations, including heads of state, government leaders and ministers.
