Chong Mountain, which means rocks piled on top of each other, is located about 40km southwest of Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province.
Situated at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level, the mountain boasts a unique shape with dozens of natural stones which are piled on top of each other at an altitude of hundreds of metres.
There are contact points between two stones which are only about one square metre wide, thereby creating a unique challenge for professional climbers who strive to conquer the top of the mountain.
The mountain is notable for its precarious appearance, a factor which helps tourists create exciting images.

The sightseeing spot provides an ideal place in which young people can snap check-in photos.
From the mountain visitors are able to see Yen Lap lake which is known as a "miniature Ha Long" of Quang Ninh.
Both sunrise and sunset are great times in which to explore the beautiful scenery.
In order to get here, visitors must go through dangerous mountains that have many trails and turns.
