(VOVworld) - President Obama arrived in Hanoi on May 22 for a three-day official visit to Vietnam. On his first day, the US leader met with Vietnam’s top officials, including President Tran Dai Quang and chariwoman of the lawmaking National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan in the morning, and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the afternoon.
He visited Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum Complex, fed fish in the complex's pond, and enjoyed "Bun cha" for dinner at a local food shop.
